Prime Hydration is now the Official Los Angeles Lakers Drink. While I was at Ralphs, I found the Prime Hydration drink with the Lakers Makeover, and it looks just too nice. I’m not sure if the Lakers are happy with it or not but I think it’s better than before. The only problem with this drink is that it has artificial sweeteners. Otherwise, it’s okay and all the flavors are just too good. As good as they are, they are just as too sweet as well. Actually, you can taste the sweeteners separately from the drink while you are drinking it and that just how strong the sweeteners are.

I found them at Ralphs which comes in the Lemonade flavor. Same Lemonade flavor as before just with a Lakers theme to it. I think I want to keep these drinks as a display because they look just too good.

Lemonade Flavor

It doesn’t taste like a real lemonade would taste when you make it fresh at home. Instead, it tastes kind of like fake lemonade as you can really taste the artificial sweeteners in this beverage. I kind of find it hard to drink on its own, but with food it just works wonders. Very amazing from start to finish when drinking and eating with food.

If you were to drink homemade lemonade you may be familiar with variety of sweet and sour flavors taking effect. But with Prime Lemonade it’s just the same sweet flavor with no other effect taking place. Therefore, you can really figure that it has a lab made tone of taste to it.

Almost Perfect 

Everything is good and just right except for two things:

  • artificial Sweeters
  • plastic

It’s using Acesulfame Potassium and Sucralose for the fake sugars. Sucralose is somewhat okay as it is debatable. However, Acesulfame Potassium is just poison with really no benefits except for harm. The other thing is that the plastic materials could be improved with better quality plastic.
