Taco Bell introduces new dessert and this time it’s for 20th Year Anniversary of the Mountain Dew Baja Blast. However, the only way to get it is online or through the app once you are logged in. It’s only available for pick up and I found it pretty good. However, it is pretty small in size with a high price tag of $4.49 for just one. It’s as small as small can be with a price tag that is just through the roof.

Mountain Dew Baja Blast GELATO

I’m a big fan of ice cream or anything alike so there was no thinking twice for me. As Taco Bell introduced this special Gelato I just had to give it a wonder of a try. Well, as you start eating it is certain that there are both lemon and lime in the flavorings. However, as eating I noticed it also has orange flavors too.

Flavors

Lemon, lime and orange dominate the entire flavors. However, getting low flavors of raspberry along with touch of vanilla. Majority of the flavors are citrus and has a nice tone of relaxation and at the same time energy producing flavors to it. Very well done by Taco Bell with this special Limited Time Gelato.

Texture

It has a weird texture to describe as it’s kind of creamy and kind of icy at the same time. It kind of feels like you froze yogurt and it came out to be like this. It has a texture that in-between, and I recommend giving it a try while you can.

I love the color as it has a nice adventure tone to it, but I just can’t stand the ingredients. Just reading that there are fake colors, it kind of bothers me. Otherwise, good tasting and fun Gelato Dessert by Taco Bell.

Meal I ordered

Along with this Gelato I ordered Veggie Build Your Own Cravings Box which is just $5.99. I ordered:

  • Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme
  • Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito
  • Cheesy Fiesta Potato
  • Medium Mountain Dew Baja Blast Beverage

The Gelato went just perfect with the meal, but I found it too small as it’s just a tiny cup.
