I decided to try the new Subway Spicy Nacho Chicken Sandwich and I got it in Footlong size. The price just for the sandwich was $14.39 which comes packed with 890 calories. The 6 inches packs 440 calories and the price is $8.99 which is under $10. I find this sandwich pretty decent in calories as with beverage and side it can reach 1,000 calories or a little more or less. Anway, this sandwich comes with two new items which are the Cheddar Cheese and SubKrunch.

#22 Spicy Nacho Chicken Footlong Sandwich

As you start eating the nacho flavor just bursts in your mouth along with the Jalapeños. It’s almost as if you are eating nacho chips except in a sandwich format.

  • Toasted Artisan Italian
  • Rotisserie-Style Chicken
  • Green Peppers
  • Red Onions
  • Jalapeños
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Creamy Sriracha
  • SubKrunch

The SubKrunch provides the crunch in the sandwich and with the cheese and Jalapeños it’s as if you are somewhat biting into a chip. Very well-made sandwich from Subway and delicious too.

Toasted 

I told them to give it to me as it comes and they toasted the sandwich without toasting the Jalapeños. For some reason, I really think the Jalapeños should be toasted too. However, it’s really good regardless of the Jalapeños being toasted or not. Also, the sandwich would need a little bit extra toast time as it doesn’t have any burns on the bread.

Toasted Artisan Italian Bread

The bread is a little to basic for this sanwich. What I think it needs is some herbs on the bread to make it blend with the cheddar cheese.

Creamy Sriracha sauce mixed with the SubKrunch and it provides a little taste similar to sushi. Sure, it’s delicious sandwich as is but it gives me sushi taste when I bite into the SubKrunch mixed with the Sriracha.

What it Needs

For some reason, I kept thinking of olives while eating this sandwich. I think a little hint of black olives would deliver a more nacho and chips style flavor.

Snack

As this is nacho sandwich and the cheddar cheese provides nacho taste it almost feels like a snack. It’s as if like did I eat a snack or sandwich? Either way, amazing footlong sandwich.
