“I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.” – Psalms 119:93

This is reminding me of something very random and that is the 9-11 attack which took place on September 11, 2001. About 2 decades ago there were hijacked airplanes that went and crushed into the twin tower buildings located in New York, USA. President of the United States was George W. Bush, and I just could never forget that that. As this Psalms starts with, “I will never forget,” it’s just like that when I think back to this tragic day of 9-11.

8th Grade

I was in 8th grade during this time, and I was in my first period class which was English for 8th graders. My English Teacher Mrs. Wilson was very sad and crying because she said that her kids were supposed to be in the building. She had tears coming down her eyes as we were all watching the news in the classroom. I was kind of lost in what exactly what happening as I was unaware of the Twin Tower Buildings, and I was pretty much a kid. Following days, I was completely more aware of what has taken place as it was in all the news and all the teachers did was talk about that.

After the incident, the next day I was only hoping for the best for Mrs. Wilson. Luckly, she told us her sons were okay as they were not in the building during that time. I believe she said that they were supposed to be in the building in the afternoon and not in the morning. Very Luckly, her sons were okay, but my heart goes to the ones that were not, and their families, and to everyone in NY, and all of us in USA.

Anyway, as I read this Psalms, I wanted to share with you guys what it reminded me of. God Bless!

Just to add that I was in Roosevelt Middle School in Glendale, CA. I hope Mrs. Wilson is okay now as she was pretty old during 2001. I had a lot of fun in her class, and it was absolutely honor having her my teacher.
