“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” – Proverbs 16:9 ESV

What I think this is trying to say is that the Lord sets you up for something that you need to accomplish. Your heart will desire to go anyway it wants, but it will follow the steps he declared for you. For example, let’s say Michael Jordan was set by God to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Whatever his heart plans to do, the steps will guide him to be the best ever because that is his destiny.

from Heart to Establishment 

If I’m brought to Earth to do a mission that is going to make a change for the upcoming world, the steps would be set by the Lord. Let’s say I was brought here to make a spaceship that will successfully fly to the moon for whatever reason it is that is set by the Lord. This mission would take place regardless of what my heart’s plans are in life. This is because the Gods brought me here to make a change for a purpose. They will get me through whatever it takes to get the mission accomplished. Same goes to all the people that have brought to Earth that have made changes that reflect the future.

In other words, it doesn’t matter what my heart plans, because the Lord guides my steps. Same to everyone as everyone has their own unique purpose.

I think that some of us may be put to Earth for something greater than we can imagine. In this purpose I think our life is like Jesus’s as he came to serve purpose from the God. Same way he brings specific people to do special tasks for him as he guides his steps and ways.
