To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. – Genesis 3:17-18
I think this is referring to Adam and Eve as the snake told them to eat the apple. I’m not exactly 100% sure about the story of Adam and Eve, but some people believe in it, and some don’t. I believe in my own method, but not exactly the one written in the bibles.
Sorrow
Maybe this is the reason why sorrow exist and why many don’t have a good life. Well, I don’t mean a good life, but a life that is not desired. Most people plan on a life, but life journey leads them to a life they didn’t plan on it. For example, if you tell an 18-year-old what you plan on your future? He might say, be married by 25, own a house, have multiple cars, be in good shape, and be happily married. Unfortunately, most people don’t reach the desired life they planned on when they were younger.
Sometimes they get everything they wanted, but not desirably. Meaning, they might be with a woman, but not by choice. Some cultures have fixed marriages which can be good or bad depending on if they love each other. Feelings change when they are not desired from the heart which can be depressing later on in life. This is why I say stick to your heart and go with your flow in life.
Some people get as they want, which they have a successful life. But most end up with a life they never really desired.
