SHAQ-A-RONI XL Pizza from Papa John's

This SHAQ-A-RONI XL Pizza from Papa John’s is just 13 bucks and very yummy. Yes, its a little on the greasy side, but in a good way. As it is limited edition and is available for only a limited time, I would suggest to try this pizza.

On The Box

This pizza box is the coolest I’ve seen so far, It’s got Shaquille O’Neal’s picture on it. Around the picture it says, “Everyone Loves Pizza, Pizza Loves Everyone.” Also, at the bottom it has Shaq’s signature with #34 on it.

At the back of the box it says, “We Love Pizza. It Brings Us All Together. The World Deserves Better ingredients. Better Pizza. And We Deliver It.” I think Papa John’s is pretty right about that which is one reason why I like to eat Papa John’s. I feel like I trust the pizza and the ingredients, which makes me feel good about eating it.

There also is a message from Shaq, “”I love being part of this team.” I see why he likes to be part of the team, “Better ingredients, better pizza” – Papa John’s

SHAQ-A-RONI XL Pizza

Pizza comes with everything EXTRA, extra cheese, extra pepperoni, and its extra large size. I measured it with a measuring tape and it comes to be around 15 to 15.5 inches in diameter. However, I noticed on the front of the pizza box it says 16 inches. So, I’m not sure if there referring to the pizza being 16 inches or the box? Anyway, doesn’t really matter because I think its a perfect size pizza.

Very Greasy

This was by far the greasiest pizza I’ve gotten from Papa John’s which I found it very good. It’s greasy, but at times doesn’t really feel greasy, its just the right balance of grease. You can even see the oils on top of the pizza on some of the slices.

Waste of EXTRA Cheese & Pepperoni

Very good pizza, but to be realistic its just wasting cheese and pepperoni. I mean what exactly is the point of extra pepperoni? As good as the pizza was, I think it would have been better if it had like 35% less pepperoni. I would even have felt better knowing less meat is being used. But since its got extra pepperoni and cheese, I somewhat feel a little bit guilty eating it.

Overall

As a whole, I loved this pizza a lot and I will continue to get it as long as its available, since its limited edition. Yes, I found it greasy, but it was great taste of grease and the size is just perfect too.

As good as this pizza was, I just wish Shaq made his free throws in the NBA just as good. But, he didn’t which I feel like he was probably daydreaming about making this pizza, which is the reason why he missed all his free throws. Anyway, dreams come true is all I could think of when it comes to this pizza. Great pizza and I love just how the crust is at the right size, thin, but not too thin, just perfect.

Garlic Knots

I got some Garlic Knots with pizza sauce to go along this pizza and its very yummy. As I rip the knots apart, the texture of the dough feels very healthy made. But, the pizza sauce is just too small for the amount of Garlic Knots it comes with. It really needs like 4 more pizza sauces, maybe next time I will ask for a super size pizza sauce because its very yummy.
