Luckily this McDonald’s Oreo Shamrock McFlurry doesn’t come with a leprechaun. The last thing I need is a leprechaun to take my smooth blend of McFlurry away from me. However, at the same time I do hope I do reach into some gold as I get closer to the bottom of the cup. That would be great finding some gold in this ice cream, let’s begin.
Oreo Shamrock McFlurry
The McFlurry comes in colors of Green, White and Black as the Shamrock syrup is the green, vanilla is the white and the black is the Oreo pieces.
Minty
As you are eating, you are getting a minty taste that is different than usual. It doesn’t have a one specific mint taste but rather variety of mints going on. It feels like couple of mints are mixed together to make this unique mint taste. In a way, spearmint is dominating the mint side of flavors. Just to mention the mint is not really that strong, it’s just the right amount. It’s not overriding the flavor and it’s giving a nice touch to it. Just at the right balance and feels good.
Taste
It has a vanilla taste, along with chocolate and mint. The mint is giving 60% of the taste while the chocolate and vanilla seem to give the 40% of taste.
New Spoon
This Oreo Shamrock McFlurry is the latest McFlurry I have gotten, and I noticed the spoon has changed. This new spoon is nothing different than any other spoon. Therefore, I’m going to give it a thumbs down on the spoon as the previous spoon was unique and different. Otherwise, the McFlurry itself is just perfect for this Spring season.
If you want to check out the Shamrock shake, it’s pretty delicious too and comes with same unique mint side of flavors.
