crumbl the afterlife cake

Crumbl Cookies introduces the Afterlife cake which is for the film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. The film comes out on September 6, 2024 or should I say 2024 A.D. Can’t wait for the film and very excited to try this afterlife cake which is available from the week of Sep 2-7. I like how Crumbl rotates its menu weekly so there is always something to try different than before. This time it’s something that is just ready to take you to the afterlife.

Just one bite and you are in chocolate fantasy with Beetlejuice. Everything about this cake is chocolate with a touch of vanilla along with colored sprinkles. The sprinkles are giving me nothing but just extra sugar flavor. The chocolate frosting has a dark chocolate flavor while the cake has regular chocolate flavor. The white frosting is vanilla flavor and overall, you can just taste the fresh baked flavor. It has a homemade taste to it kind of like you just took it out of the oven. Very delicious from start to finish.

Too Sweet

One thing I noticed is that this cake is just a bit too sweet. I really think 50% less sugar would be enough as it really got me running to get some water or shall I say juice.

The movie preview on top of the cake is a plastic paper and can be used for other decorations and it is not eatable. Love everything about this cake and now I’m ready for the film. Luckly, we don’t have to wait for the afterlife to watch the film, or do we? We may just ask Beetlejuice once we say the name 3 times.
