Found this special yellow Butterfinger Ice Cream Box at VONS and decided to give it a try. Well, it sure doesn’t taste better than the actual chocolate bar. However, it’s good in its own ways but just the ingredients bother me. It comes in a box of 6 individually wrapped ice creams. On the box it does say: “Made with REAL Ice Cream.” I mean who puts that on ice cream. As if the rest of the ingredients could be terrible but at least the ice cream is real, I guess.

Butterfinger Ice Cream

  •  Butterfinger Flavored Ice Cream with a Crunchy Butterfinger Layer and Chocolatey Coating.

When eating this it satisfies Butterfinger flavors. The outside chocolate layer does taste like Butterfinger chocolate. The inside middle top does taste like Butterfinger. What Else is left? Just the ice cream part inside which tastes like caramel ice cream. It’s kind of like Butterfinger mixed with caramel ice cream with Butterfinger taste being dominant. Well, sure it’s a great tasting ice cream for those like me that just love Butterfinger chocolate bar. However, the ice cream ingredients make it sad to want to consume it.

Artificial colors is enough for me not to even look at the rest of the ingredients.

Better Choice 

Grab into the Butterfinger chocolate bar and crush it up and mix it with better choice of ice cream. Mixing it with vanilla or chocolate ice cream will provide a better healthier option.

Favorite Chocolate Bar 

Perhaps Butterfinger is my favorite chocolate bar as it just satisfies me. The flavors are buttery, peanuty, chocolatey and there is the word Butt in Butterfinger. The ingredients are better than alternatives and fun yellow wrappers too. However, my overall favorite chocolate of all time is Hershey’s Kisses because it just satisfies more. (ha..ha..ha)

Now I feel like mixing some Butterfinger into a smoothie and see how that goes.
