Two worlds come together from ice cream to chocolate and it forms Ben & Jerry’s Tony’s Chocolonely chocolates. I picked them up at Target, however many stores have them too such as Whole Foods and World Market. They are here for limited time so grab them if you come across them. They are available in two flavors which they are inspired by classic Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavors. This is an interesting combination here between ice cream and chocolate which I sure loved it.

Ben & Jerry’s Tony’s Chocolonely Chocolate Love A-Fair 

The two flavors are both chocolate which one is white while the other is dark. Great ingredients and the chocolate is made in Belgium so you know you are getting good quality chocolate.

The Flavors

  • White Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake Style – This one is kind of confusing as it doesn’t really provide the cheesecake flavor that I was trying to grasp. Sure, it’s good but it is missing the cheesecake part of the flavor. It has strawberries inside which come in a soft bite and it also has these crumbly cookies inside that make the taste interesting.
  • Dark Milk Chocolate with Brownie – This one is dark chocolate, but it tastes like milk chocolate. It is crunchy and the brownies are crunchy too. Very addicting and I can’t stop eating this one.

Thoughts in my Head

Even though this is chocolate and ice cream flavors put into one, I was thinking of mixing them into vanilla ice cream. Perhaps, it would be interesting blend and I would feel like a food chef that just made my very fresh ice cream. Also, the White Chocolate makes me think that if it was chocolate with the strawberries it would be pretty interesting kind of like chocolate ice cream with strawberries from Costco Food Court.
