Ben & Jerry’s Sundae Ice Creams

In the world of sundaes comes new creation by Ben & Jerry’s which is Sundae Ice Creams available in the freezer sections of the stores. Perhaps this is a first of its kind, a sundae in a cup ready to be eaten right off of the freezer. Well, with this new creation Ben & Jerry’s introduces the first 4 flavors of its kind. Just to add that this Sundaes don’t really taste like a Sundae you would buy from actual Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Shop. Instead, they have like a somewhat unique form of taste of their own. In specific, just feels like another very good tasting Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream and not specifically a Sundae.

Size

Also, they come in 14.4 Fl Oz in size which just doesn’t make sense to make them 1 pint as normal. On top of that they are heavy on calories and finish too quickly.

Whipped toppings on Top

To be exact, the whipped topping on top is the only reason that this actually feels like a sundae. However, if not noticed the whipped topping on top may be confused with the ice cream when eating. Doesn’t taste like fresh squeezed whip cream and it tastes like heavy cream in a milky tone.

Turtle Sundae

When eating this one you really get buttery taste along with very salty and chocolatey flavors too. I love the chocolate covered almonds but the pretzels kind of annoy me. I think it would be fun if this came with actual turtle shape chocolate pieces inside the ice cream.

Cookie Vermont-ster

Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Vermont-ster Sundae

Talk about monster this is the Cookie Vermont-ster flavor and delivers no cookie taste other than Oreo like cookie flavor along with vanilla ice cream. I like the chocolate flavor on top and with this sundae you can taste the whipped topping as a whipped vanilla flavor. This one feels like you just made the sundae at home and just so fresh.

Choco-lotta Cheesecake

Ben & Jerry’s Choco-lotta Cheesecake Sundae

This one is interesting because it really delivers the cheesecake type of flavor just rich in chocolate. Kind of hints me to Chocolate Cheesecake that I’ve had from the Cheesecake Factory before. The whipped topping on top tastes like vanilla ice cream and not whipped cream when mixed with the chocolate. This is what I like to call a unique taste between chocolate and cheesecake. The chocolate pieces on top give me a dark chocolate flavor that is kind of bitter. Also, I think the chocolate pieces are from Tony’s Chocolonely because I’ve had Ben & Jerry’s flavor chocolate bar from Tony’s Chocolonely.

Dulce De-lish!

Ben & Jerry’s Sundae Dulce De-lish!

From start to finish nothing but caramel taste and just satisfies all of the caramel cravings. If you are wondering if it tastes like the pastry Dulce De Leches, the answer is not really. However, it just tases like vanilla and caramel with different variety forms of caramels. The pecan toffee pieces taste nothing like pecans but rather another form of caramel that is incredibly crunchy and sweet. Absolutely delicious caramel sundae.
